Intermediate 2 (Units 16-20)

Intermediate 2 reinforces students’ ability to successfully express themselves in past, present, and future tense. Students will further develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. In this level, students will learn how to express present and past progessive actions, to express wishes and desires, to give commands, and to express future actions. Vocabularly topics include sports, games, stages of life, family, celebrations, and travel. This level cultivates the three types of communication specified by ACTFL: interpersonal communication, interpretive communication, and presentational communication (see www.actfl.org/publications/all/national-standards-foreign-language-education).
